Join our talented artiste Alythia to make a stunning fritscape that looks like a painting! Use our selection of glass and frit to build this beautiful vista which will be fused in our kiln and installed into a hand-built bare pine frame. You can stain or paint the frame at home or leave it natural. frame is approximately 13" square.
What is frit, you ask?? Frit is just the name for small chunks of glass that have been sorted in similar sizes. In this class, you will be using frit that is the size of table salt and bigger chunks that are more like sea salt.
Prerequisite: No glass experience necessary but the ability to let go and create are essential! Adults 18+ only.
When: The class is 9:45-4:00, with breaks. You may bring your own lunch (we have a fridge, toaster and microwave) or there is a great deli next door - Nona's - where you can purchase your lunch.
The Fine Print: Please check your calendar carefully before booking this class as there are no refunds, rescheduling or credit. You can, however, transfer your class if you find someone to take your place. Tax and materials are included in the cost.
