Instructor Information: Scandia Wood began her art glass journey learning stained glass in her childhood and continued working with glass as a hobbyist throughout her life as a creative escape in her spare time. As luck would have it, her passion for art glass would eventually lead her to pursue a full-time career working for the art glass manufacturers themselves. In that capacity, she was able to assist in new product development, customer education, marketing efforts, attend industry trade shows, and teach numerous levels of fusing workshops.
Scandia considers herself to be incredibly fortunate that her longtime dance with art glass continues to evolve. She now focuses on creating her glass artwork through her own business, Scandia Glass Art. She additionally still enjoys teaching glass fusing technique classes for art glass suppliers and special glass industry events.
