Each firing creates six square beads, six round beads, and two cabochons. The beads are small, each measuring about 5/8 inch (15mm) in diameter. Because of the mold’s engineering, the beads almost never require any cold work - grinding or polishing.
The mold itself measures 4.5 x 7 x 1 inches (11.5 x 18 x 2.5 cm). The fill weight for each of the six squares is 2-3 grams. For the circles; 1 to 2 grams; For the two cabochons; 1 gram. We suggest using MR-97 Aerosol Boron Nitride with this mold.
