3D Lotus **stained glass experience needed - Sat, Aug 8, 2026

Join guest instructor Sylvie Jalbert to make a beautiful 3D stained glass lotus in a cup! Sylvie is a local stained glass artist who has been featured in the Stained Glass News newsletter!

Have a teacup that was handed down to you that is collecting dust in a cabinet? Have a mug that you love but that you never use? Students bring in their own cup/mug/pot (with an opening up to 4") and Sylvie walks you through the steps to creating one 3D lotus or flower. Keep for yourself or give to someone without a garden!

Prerequisite: Recent (within 2 years) stained glass experience (cutting & soldering) is required. If you come to class with no experience, you will not be allowed to participate. You must be confident in your skills and be able to work independently on the cutting, grinding and soldering. This class will focus on the finishing aspects -- assembling it and learning the decorative touches. . Adults 18+ only.

When: The class runs from 9:00-4:00.
