Whether you create stained glass panels, fused glass artwork, or production pieces, the Morton Portable Glass Shop (MPGS) is one of the most versatile tools you can own.

In this workshop, you will spend the morning with Jennifer Walkovich learning how to use the Morton Portable Glass Shop (MPGS) to cut precise hexagons that fit together perfectly. In the afternoon, you will use the hexagons you cut in the morning to complete a freeform stained glass honeycomb piece with Ryan.

Prerequisite: Previous stained glass experience is required. This is not a beginner class and we are not teaching the skills of foiling and soldering. You must already know these skills to take the class.

Safety: Closed-toe shoes must be worn for the class. If you do not wear the appropriate footwear, you will not be allowed in the classroom for safety reasons. Safety glasses must be worn when cutting, grinding and soldering.

Instructors: Jennifer Walkovich & Ryan Hanna

When: The class is from 9:30 am- 4:00pm with a break for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own lunch (we have a fridge, microwave and toaster) or you can buy a yummy lunch from the deli next door.

The Fine Print: Tax and materials are included in the cost. Please check your calendar before booking as there are no refunds or credit.
