1 Day Class - Wed, Nov 4, 2026 from 9:30-5:00.

Prerequisite: Some glass cutting experience required.

Come sharpen your glass cutting skills! In this class the Morton Portable Glass Shop (MPGS) will be featured. The Morton System has provided hobbyists and professional glass Artists the ultimate tool for producing accurate and repetitive glass pieces. A brief portion of class will be dedicated to a discussion on cutting tools available and proper cutting technique, as well as how to easily cut a perfect circle (time permitting). Many styles of glass cutters will be available in class for participants to sample.

 Students will learn:

• How to set up the MPGS
• How to cut strips and squares
• How to cut triangles out of squares

Students will create a 10-12” geometric piece which will be fused and slumped for you. This class is ideal for glass fusers as well as stained glass artists. The pieces will be ready for pick-up 1-3 weeks after class.

Experienced glass artists all agree you will benefit greatly by understanding all the MPGS has to offer. Hands-on cutting and demonstrations will strengthen your Morton skills.
